Traveling through Europe, my wife and I were impressed by the large number of scooters. They were everywhere - from the snowy streets of Copenhagen, the sunny avenues of Barcelona, the little cobblestone alleys of Siena to the dusty byways of Crete. With the high price of fuel, the small streets and minimal parking, these scooters began to make sense. Returning to Santa Barbara and visiting the motorcycle and motorsports stores, I found a few very nice scooters, but all beyond my price range. Researching online, I found a few brands that met my criteria; Lance, Flyscooters and SYM. After ordering a scoot , I was so impressed with it's value and had so many friends ask where I got my scooter, that I decided to open ootys scooters, serving the greater Santa Barbara area.
